Our Mission

The mission of the Web Handling Research Center (WHRC) is to advance the knowledge base in technologies applicable to the transport and control of continuous-strip materials. Primary activities include fundamental and generic research, as well as knowledge and information transfer to and from its industrial sponsors.

Our Goals

• To advance the science base in the technologies of web handling through fundamental and generic research.
• To assist in the transfer of knowledge and information to the sponsoring organizations.
• To assist in the transfer of knowledge and information to targeted Oklahoma manufacturing firms.
• To establish and maintain strong cooperative relationships with industry and other universities.
